After industry consultation and visitor feedback, The Boston Run and Outdoor Expo announces its new home at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, March 28-29 2026. The move reunites the Boston Run and Outdoor Expo under one roof once more—this time at a world-class venue known for hosting top-tier concerts, major NFL games, and the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Previously hosted in the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, the decision to bring the two expos back together stems from a clear desire in the market for a joined-up experience that better serves the outdoor and running community. At the 2025 collocated events, visitor satisfaction was an all-time high, with 72% of visitors saying they’d return to the two expos again in 2026. The Gillette Stadium provides the scale, accessibility, and atmosphere to elevate both the exhibitor and attendee experience.
Situated just off I-95 between Boston and Providence, the Gillette Stadium welcomes a dynamic and engaged communityfrom Foxborough and neighboring boroughs, which matches the demographic of visitors to the expos.Over 11,000families and fitness enthusiasts who value performance, gear, and the great outdoors visited the expos in 2025. The shift in location offers excellent transport links all geared to attract greater foot traffic, offers vendors higher brand visibility, and has a stronger regional pull than ever before.
A Strategic Shift to Invest, Grow & Optimize the events
For exhibitors, the relocation offers benefits that will increase their return on investment at The Boston Run and Outdoor Expo. With a new location comes increased visibility to a wider audience in the suburbs of the city of Boston. Gillette Stadium’s prestige draws media attention and organic footfall, which will help to boost brand exposure for participating vendors. There are easy load-in/load-out logistics, ample parking, and state-of-the-art facilities that enhance both operational ease and visitor satisfaction too. The strength of two shows creates a richer crossover of product categories, creating a more compelling reason for visitors to attend the expo.
“The expos were a huge success in March 2025 when we collocated the events for the first time. Visitor footfall rose to 11,000+ over the two days, the energy on-site was electric, and the feedback was clear: this format works. Post-event, we reviewed everything – what works and what doesn’t! We’ve got big ambitions for the weekend, and the Gillette Stadium allows us to collocate the events again, grow the offering of vendors and invest in new creative activations to offer improved entertainment for a wider visitor audience. There are many positives for vendors, including reduced costs, a smoother operational experience, and we anticipate visitors to stay all day – the parking is free!” said Stephen Morgan, Event Director.
