Maya Jade (she/they) is an AMC Boston rock climber, runner, and overall outdoor enthusiast who loves all things nature. Maya Jade has been running for 10+ years and climbing for 3 years with AMC Boston and affinity climbing groups such as Brown Girls Climb, Asian Climbing Collective. You can find Maya organizing meet ups, gym nights, crag days, and outdoor related events to increase access and knowledge across all people, esp women/ non-binary and BIPOC individuals.
Maya Jade enjoys running and the outdoors because she enjoys spending quality time with friends, meeting new people with similar passion, and challenging herself to push the body and the mind beyond self-constructed limits. She is inspired by the community members and hopes to continue to pay it forward through her actions and inspiring others to volunteer.
