I have been an avid long distance athlete for 50 years. My interest led me to a career in medicine. My focus has been on the pathology of running injuries, preventing injuries, nutrition, and rehab. Over the years I have worked with & trained with numerous athletes. Most recently, I was diagnosed with splenic marginal zone lymphoma. This has affected my work, training, and running. I have become involved with Blood Cancer United both as a patient and physician, trying to help others in anyway that I can.
